Humans will do some downright insane things to save animals. Some people run into burning buildings, shield them from tornados, or even swim after them in floods.
What this woman did is beyond that, though. She heard a kitten making noises in a drain pipe and decided to take matters into her own hands. Even after gathering a few friends and authorities to help her, she eventually climbed in and grabbed the kitten herself!
What a daring and heartwarming rescue. This woman risked it all in order to save the life of a helpless little kitty -- that's a true hero.
